I am feeling bored by sitting in the home. So cant i work without my green card or SSN?

please guys send some good info

n love you all

You should have applied for EAD. That way, you can work even though without your green card. It still can take a little while to have the EAD though. How come you don't have SSN?

N-400 NATURALIZATION

04/04/2011 - Mailed N-400 to AZ Lockbox

04/06/2011 - Received

04/07/2011 - NOA

04/07/2011 - Check cashed

04/14/2011 - Biometrics appointment in the mail

04/21/2011 - Early Biometrics (was scheduled on May 4, 2011)

05/09/2011 - Case Status Notification - In line for interview and testing

05/10/2011 - Case Status Notification - Interview scheduled

05/14/2011 - Interview Appointment Letter in the mail

06/21/2011 - Interview Appointment Date

06/29/2011 - Case Status Notification - Placed in the oath scheduling que

08/16/2011 - Case Status Notification - Oath ceremony scheduled

09/15/2011 - Oath Taking - good riddance!

09/23/2011 - Applied for Passport

10/08/2011 - Passport in the mail

10/17/2011 - Certificate of Naturalization in the mail -- OFFICIALLY DONE!

You are currently eligible to work, but you'll be hard pressed to find someone to hire you before your SSN arrives. The I-551 stamp in your passport serves as proof that you can work though, so maybe give it a shot. :)

US Immigration Timeline

-------------------------

24 Feb 2007 - Sent I-130 to London USCIS office (I'm the petitioner)

25 May 2007 - NOA2

2 June 2007 - Received Packet 3

12 Oct 2007 - Sent Packet 3 back by special delivery

5 Nov 2007 - Interview in London - Approved without any hitches!

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)

30 Jan 2008 - Fly to Michigan!! :)

*Note: Any delays in our case are only due to us taking things slowly

You should have applied for EAD. That way, you can work even though without your green card. It still can take a little while to have the EAD though. How come you don't have SSN?

They entered the US with an immigrant CR1 visa and are already eligible to work. The SSN will soon be on its way in the mail but just hasn't arrived.
