Okay, as promised, here is what she said about the interview:

She feels good about it getting approved. She said there was no reason to worry, except they may have gotten his name mixed up with someone else's as to a minor legal charge having to do with marijuana! LOL! But it won't really matter and my husband has never even had a speeding ticket ((which is true!)) and that it will be just fine.

She said if she had to put it into numbers, she would give a more than 80% chance that it will be a YES. She said to EXPECT a yes. Believe that it will be approved, expect it to be approved.

And she said the officer would be nice to us. :D

She was so excited about it she asked me to call her tomorrow and leave her a voicemail about how it went! :lol:

Well...I feel better. I'm basically going to be nervous no matter what, but it helped to talk to her. We'll see.

5/23/03: Justin arrives to visit me in IA from SK.
6/7/03: We got married!
8/23/03: Filed I-130 from SK
8/25/03: Phoned border guards & asked if J could escort me back to IA, yes.
8/26/03: Arrive in IA
8/27/03: Went to USCIS local office to ask if J could stay in the US and file papers, yes
2004: I-130 approved!
6/05: Filed AOS/EAD
7/2/05: Rec'd receipt for I-485
8/05: Rec'd RFE for Biometrics
9/9/05: Rec'd RFE for medical
12/2/06: EAD APPROVED!
12/5/06: EAD card rec'd
1/15/06: AOS interview date for 4/11/06 at 11:00 a.m.
4/11/06: APPROVED!!!!!! NO MORE USCIS FOR 10 YEARS!!! WOOHOO!!! 2016...seems more like a page # than a year. Haha.

Hey there is nothing wrong with that. I even thought of that. I didnt go because I really didnt know anybody that was good. Good luck and try not to panic. :)

11/09/09 Rec'd letter Bio Appointment

11/17/09 Bio Appointment 8am

11/20/09 Called FBI-Prints were sent back to USCIS same day.

12/03/09 Rec'd email from USCIS that the RFE was a mistake.

12/04/09 Rec'd email from USCIS saying that I have been transferred for an interview.

12/07/09 Rec'd letter for interview on 1/11/10 @11am in Fairfax, VA.

01/11/10 Interview completed. Passed test decision can't be made.

03/02/10 Contacted Senator's office...No reply yet!

03/04/10 Senator office called says can take up to 120 days.

04/12/10 Service request filed.

05/12/10 Contacted Senator's office again.

05/12/10 Told over the phone that I was approved. Believe it when I see it!

06/04/10 Senators office tells me the adjudicator who interviewed me thinks I have a criminal record. Send out all paper work showing no criminal record.

06/08/10 Leave for Canada

06/09/10 Get RCMP certificate showing no criminal record. Fax off to senators office.

06/23/10 Approved for Citizenship

06/24/10 USCIS contacts Senators office

06/28/10 Find out that I have been approved for citizenship and they are just waiting to schedule my oath.

07/12/10 Put in line for oath ceremony....wonder how long that will be!

08/18/10 Called USCIS confirmed they sent oath letter for 09/17/2010 at 9am.

09/17/10 Oath ceremony at 9am..... US Citizen!!!! Applied for passport.
