Two EAD production emails

Hi,

I got an email on Sept. 19th stating that my EAD card was in production. Then on Sept. 25th I got another email saying that on "September 25th we ordered production of your card". What date should I go by and when do you think I might get my card? Has anyone else every got two emails like this with different dates? THANKS!!

Typically a week or so after the email. The email system at USCIS tends to send out multiples of some standard messages.

Same happened with my EAD......... 3 emails:

(1) On September 17, 2007, we ordered production of your new card.

(2) On September 20, 2007, we ordered production of your new card.

(3) On September 25, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

We received the EAD in the post yesterday (26th Sep) in Virginia.

Same thing happened to us. The first date was for Sept 24 and the other for Sept 27. Hopefully we will see that card in the mail soon. The lady at USCIS said the first date is the actual date it was ordered, just a fluke in the computer system for the other message.

The EAD came in a standard small white envelope, I didn't notice what was on the envelope.

We have a townhouse with a letterbox in the front door - we didn't have our names on the letterbox, and received the envelope with no problem.

It comes in a plain white envelope, with the notation "Return Service Requested" which means it wont get forwarded.

We dont have name on our mail box, and green-card was delivered OK, but it is recommended to have name on mail box, you never know about some postal workers.
