I just called USCIS again just now before my China trip for 3 weeks to visit her.. I will be leaving tomorrow (Friday) night.. the USCIS person said that it will take about another 6 weeks (rough estimate) just to start "processing" my case.. I said I was going on a trip soon and wanted to know if I am getting a RFE.. I just wanted to be prepared and do something before going on the trip... well, in any case they said it will be another 6 weeks... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: I told them that I also filed the I-129F (but in June due to their computer problem in April).. she said that they will process both of them at about 6 weeks time.. so the timeframe is based on the I-130's time.. but one thing that bothers me is that she said my date is "April 27" date (ONLINE STATUS), and not the "April 16" (application received at USCIS)... that's another 2 weeks lost right there... man.. this is getting to be too long for us..

165 days + 6 weeks (42 days) ==> 207 days???

If you filed your I-129F in June, I would be thinking in terms of a March or April interview. It will save you a lot of stress. A nine month K3 process for China is quite reasonable but it can be faster or slower.

Given the six week estimate (no telling how close that might be) from now, I would project the following timeline for you, based on Guangzhou history.

Early November approval...NOA2.

Early December, NVC out.

Mid February (holiday delays) GUZ accepts delivery of case file and sends P3

Late March P4 with interview date assigned in April or May.

Enjoy your trip to China and use the waiting time to build your relationship.

Gogo,

My heart goes out to you! This is whole process is making me crazy!!! I just can't believe all this delays and do not understand how others are processed quickly and the rest of us have hit a brick wall at CSC. Not fair and unjustified because there is some

ridicious reason for something else that is thrown in the mist with CSC. This process center needs help and has gone pass other process centers! I have been told if you want something you need to fight for it because its not important to anyone else. Our families are our lives and are most important! I'm going to bother people (Congressman or Senators Office) until they are sick of me; like how I am sick of this entire process continuing to keep our families seperated. NOT FAIR!!!! I recieved two touches in the couple of days but, now I do not believe nothing will come out of it. :crying::crying: So, disheartening!!! Anyway on the bright note enjoy time with your spouse. Cherish every moment with because who knows the time you will unite again...

Good luck my friend...

I just read this in another Post; check this out:

I have a friend that works for the Department of Home Land Security. I have been trying and trying to make contact with him for the last three months. I finally got through. This is what was said to me about what is going on. This is a fact i would not say anything else in less i knew for sure. This news is some what relief but frustrating. I'm writing a letter now to my congress to put the pressure on the USCIS. The problem is I need more people to step up too? :help:

USCIS was holding a gun at the head of Congress to get the fee hikes approved. Either pass the fee hikes or we'll sit on our duffs! So Congress approved the fee hike (under serious protest). The first attempt by USCIS failed.

In preparation for this, USCIS published document called "Transformation." This was a clever ploy to be able to pass out excuses for delays. And implementing, whatever they are doing, had caused the delays, not to mention, building their bureaucracy and power!

There are 5 regional service centers (or were). In the last six or so months, they've passed on the K and Relative visa case load from 4 of the service centers to California. Imagine the added work load and training that had to be done by the California Center. They've been running 6 months or so in just approving the petitions.

In shuffling the cases from Texas, Nebraska, then Missouri and eventually Vermont, to California, has caused longer and longer delays and even in simply getting to a case to cash the checks and send out receipts!!

Just recently, they assigned Vermont to take some of the backlog off California's back. More transition delays in cashing checks and sending out receipts! I have yet to see any improvement in processing time.

If you'll look at the USCIS reports, you'll notice they are ignoring the I-129F stats on the K3 visa. You'll also notice the I-130 reports indicate nothing since they include 2nd., and 3rd., preference cases filed by Permanent Residents (not U.S. Citizens). In other words, they are hiding their information!

These shuffled and reshuffled cases are eventually making it to an adjudicator's desk as we see. But it's scary meanwhile since no one is talking. But keep in mind, they are in fact, under the gun, and eventually they have to get to each case. They are in effect, shooting themselves in the foot while justifying a greater empire. The public is slooowly waking up and screaming! That's one thing the killed the Amnesty Bill. :unsure:

165 days + 6 weeks (42 days) ==> 207 days???

I just called USCIS again just now before my China trip for 3 weeks to visit her..

Just a positive note. I have similar time line and was touched Sept. 28 29 I called RFE Trick, they said I had about 6weeks of processing. I reminded them my real date was April 24, and notice May 22. they try to go by 1st date but sometimes overlook it and used the notice date. Anyways, when they tell you there's 6 more weeks it means they are actually processing you app. You should be getting approved very shortly. I got approved on the Oct 3rd both I-130 and I-129. Good luck, yours is around the corner

What's the RFE trick? You pretend you are worried that you are getting an RFE? Does that get an actual officer on the phone or are you still hearing about this six week bs from an inept operator?
