Wrote in BLUE Ink?!

Um...I realized I submitted my I-130 written in BLUE ink [not black like it says]...is this going to be a problem? I feel like an idiot but this whole process is just stressful...thanks

I think it would be "nit picking" if they refuse it on that!!......BUT this is USCIS the good news is, if they are they will send the whole thing back as soon as they recieve it

Well, they may be ok with blue ink, it is hard to say. Please pay attention to the instruction. Always use blank ink to fill out immigration forms. Worst case, they may send the application back and ask you to submit a new one with black ink. It will just delay the processing. But let's hope, they accept the blue ink. If you wrote a personal check for application fee, $190.00, then check your account after few days whether it is cashed or not. If it is cashed by USCIS, then perhaps, they are fine with blue ink. You will hear something frmo them soon. Either, Notice of action, I-797C or send a new I-130 with black ink. But lets hope for the former, not the latter.

If it does get sent back to you, yoiu might want to look into asking BZ City Consulate if they will let you file your I-130 with them instead.

Can be faster (and way more complete) than a K-3.

Read the instructions carefully (before your start). If you do not follow the instructions, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) may have to return your petition, which may delay final action.

I think you are fine! I recall some forms saying blue or black ink. Not too sure.

Well... to be #######, errr... technical about it... Some photocopiers will not produce legible copies if the signature is in green or red ink. Most copiers will be fine with blue (dark blue) ink. Use a baby-blue ink and I'll wager that it'll get tossed back as soon as the first guy who tries to make a copy doesn't get the signature.

as long as you did not write in RED ink you are prob OK. I think if all is neat but I really dont know for sure. To me who gives a sht if its blue or black?? The other day I wrote a chek at the grocery store and they would not accept my chek because it was not black ink-it was like a dark blue almost purple pen - How stupid is that!!! They said it had to do with thier new readers. You would think teknology should advance and not regress.
