PAKISTANI BIRTH CERTIFICATE

Hi,

I lost my Pakistani birth certificate but I have a photocopy of it can anybody tell me how can I get the duplicate one, and will the US embassy consider it?

NVC FOR CR-1 (I-130)

06/13/07 - NVC receives petition and case # assigned.

06/25/07 - Form DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) & AoS bill generated.

06/27/07 - E-mailed choice of agent using James' shortcut.

07/03/07 - Mailed AOS bill via overnight mail using James' shortcut.

07/11/07 - NVC e-mails back accepting Choice of Agent

07/13/07 - IV bill generated.

07/16/07 - Received IV bill via snail mail

07/18/07 - Mailed IV bill back via overnight mail.

07/20/07 - I-864 received via snail mail

07/23/07 - Mailed I-864 via overnight mail.

07/28/07 - Payment for IV bill entered into the system

08/06/07 - DS-230 generated.

08/15/07 - Received DS-230 coversheet via snail mail.

08/24/07 - Mailed DS-230 packet to NVC via overnight mail (didn't use James' shortcuts).

08/29/07 - DS-230 info entered in NVC's system.

09/11/07 - CASE COMPLETED!!! THANK GOD

09/19/07 - Case fwd to london embassy

The only way to get it is contact Bladia of your area i mean the area where u born in Pakistan.., they will give u translated in english duplicate copy if u r in their record only Baldia of town issue Birth Certificates if u were from karachi then Karachi Birth Record center can issue you a Birth Certificate

Somebody told me that I can get it from Union council office, is it true if yes would the embassy accept it or do I have to get it from the BALDIA OFFICE, actually I am from Hyderabad.

yes u can get it from local union council office where your record is.its better to take your previous birth certificate's copy with u there,u will have to pay a fee of rs200 and they will give u a new one.and yes us embassy accepts it.i lost mine too and i got the new one and send it too pakistan embassy with packet 3.5 and they gave me interview date.best of luck

But I am still stuck between Baldia and Union council, actually I go the birth certificate form the union council but I am not sure will they accept it or not?

because US embassy in London says “A person born in India or Pakistan must present the registration certificate if the birth was registered. If it was not registered, either in the locality or, if a Christian, in church, sworn affidavits may be submitted. Such an affidavit must be executed by the mother before an official authorized to take oaths (i.e., a magistrate, commissioner of oaths, justice of the peace or the like). If the mother is deceased the father may swear to the affidavit. The affidavit should indicate:

1. that the applicant’s birth was not registered;

2. the full maiden name of the mother of the applicant;

3. the full name of the father of the applicant;

4. the date of the applicant’s birth; and

5. the place of the applicant’s birth.

That’s why I am so confused how can I get the birth registration certificate now,is the birth certificate and birth registration are the same.

birth is registered means u have record of birth registered at local union office,Baldia office,muncipal commetie office.they are same man.and i am telling u that i have got mine from local baldia office,or we can call it muncipal office in locality where i am living.and USCIS has accepted it.
