What if you WERE single again, and a good friend introduced you to someone...........? Not their fault where they were born. I certainly am not going to discount someone because of where they are from.

I had a full 2 year nightmare with USCIS, but they are just a government office, here to serve us, they don't scare me.

Well, dating a foreigner who was already here would be one thing, but the assumption would be that they would already have all the necessary documentation for being here. It's not like you could get introduced to someone on the internet and then poof let's get a visa, right? You just don't go down that path if you don't want to face the possible challenges.

Are you talking about dating/marrying another man from MENA? That I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with but having to petition for one I would have a problem with. Anyone who is a good friend to me wouldn't want to put me through more of this kind of hell.

Well, I haven't gotten my husband here YET. If something were to happen to the marriage, I can't say that I woudn't. IMO the hardest thing about going thru this process in the first place is the not knowing what is going to happen next, or when it will happen. So, being forwarned and forarmed and knowing about the wait times, RFE's, AP and all that could happen, well, I would at least know what to expect as far as the actual legalites of immigration. So I would have to say that I would highly be likely to do this over again, if the right man came along. Hopefully, I won't ever have to find out.

My life has been blessed with the love of 4 of the sweetest men in the world. James, Jonathan, Nicolas, and Islam, my sons and my S/O.

OPSSSSSSS I DID IT AGAIN!

I believe in never saying never as well, but I just could not go through the whole immigration process again. I am not even done with this one and this is just the first round. Now we've just entered the second round and then we have naturalization to look forward to down the road  .

No Thanks

 I told myself when I was young I would never marry an Arab and certainly not a Muslim so I've learned never to say never.

It depends on the situation but I don't think I could say flat out no I wouldn't ever do it again.
