Yes, I have phone a couple of times and I was transferred to an Immigration Officer who said that need to wait until the 90 day mark. It's just frustrating to see people from other Service Centers getting there EAD's completed with similiar time lines. I don't know, my husband is frustrated and bored becuase he can't work and I'm stressed becuase I can't do anything about it. Sorry needing to rant a little, good luck to you as well :crying:

Yeah, sorry to hear about that, so annoying. I looked up our Congresswoman and have decided to see if she can help. Other VJ's have done the same and it seemed to have helped. Don't know, just want to get some insight on the when my husban will get approved....hopefully we'll both get approved soon

As soon as your EAD application gets to day 91 i suggest you make an InfoPass appt with your local office, they will contact MSC and ask them to adjudicate processing your EAD application A.S.A.P. or you can call the 800# and they will put through a service request to MSC for them to process your application.

FYI you go by the received date not the NOA date ;) the NOA is only the date the receipt notice was generated.

Its the received date that USCIS goes by, I was told this when i called when my EAD application was outside the 90 day processing time.

I hope this helps

Hi

Thanks for the advice as far as the infopass appointment and the recieved date. Just looked over the NO1 and our recieved date is June 28th, NO1 July 5th, Biometrics completed July 28th. Which means 96 days have passed, but according to the NO1 notice it takes 60-180 days from when fingerprints taken for the case to be completed so ideally we should get a card production email on Sept 28th. Of course at this point I don't feel very optimistic and just wish I could do something except call USCIS, its a bit depressing really. Nevertheless I will make the phone call tomorrow. Thanks again and I'll hope for the best

The part about taking 60-180 days from when fingerprints are taken just ignore it, what's important is you're application is outside the normal 90 day processing timeframe. Call USCIS tomorrow, if they give you the "call back in 30 days" ####### tell them that the EAD is not subject to waiting another 30 days, but more than likely you will get a competent service rep that will forward your call to a IO who will do a service request, to have your EAD adjudicated a.s.a.p. Don't give up hope.

An IO put in a service request in for my EAD on a Friday, my EAD was approved by the following tuesday.

Good Luck

I called them but I didn't get to talk to anyone. I made several attempts and was on the phone for almost an hour! I also tried making an infopass but the website says there aren't any available appointments for the office in my area. Can't do anything really but to try again... :(

Yeah, we'll probably be going that direction should the infopass be unsuccessful. But I'm still hopeful that we'll get some good news very soon. ;)\

Sounds like you got as far as the "Automated Response" and gave up.....after you enter your MSC# you need to stay on the phone and at the end of the message about your EAD keep listening etc , press #3 to go to the next step.....listen to the choices......The one you want is ....if you think your application is outside processing time, you will be transfered to a customer servicer rep.

Good Luck
