Entering USA with Green Card

Dear Friends, I want to ask a question about Green Card, I wonder, how is the procedure when we enter USA with our conditional Green Card? I mean, Do Officers interviews and ask questions and will we taken biometrics on the border( fingerprint and photo, signature)?. I heard Its possible they treat you like a regular B2 Visa holder, is this true? I wait answers from members who had exprince to enter USA with their GCs?

I handed over the card, they scanned it, I was sometimes asked for a digital fingerprint of my right index finger, and that was about it.

If the POE has lines for Residents and Non-Residents (Visas), you follow the US Citizens and go through the residents line, they will just scan the green-card just like they scan US Citizen's passport, nothing complex about it.

they just asked me how many days i was out of US and scanned my GC

I handed my Greencard and passport to the CBP officer, he asked how long I had been out of the US and then said Welcome Home... that was it and it only took 5 mins.... we went through the US Citizens line....
