Hi there, This is William (It is normally Chelsea that posts)

We went to the local doctor yesterday to get a MMR jab and she gave a letter stating the two recent jabs that I have had. Is that enough for the inoculation report? She advised that the visa people would request a copy of the medical certificates.

I don't see why that wouldn't be sufficient. Bruce had the MMR and the DTP done at his GP, and they gave him a little booklet with annotations showing he had gotten the jabs. That was all that was needed on the day. Knightsbridge asked if he had had chicken pox, which he had had as a kid, and Bruce pointed to a scar. That was enough proof.

Your GP is wrong -- a copy of the medical certificates will not be requested for vaccinations. The letter (I'm assuming it's on letterhead) should be fine. Knightsbridge will let you know on the day if they deem it insufficient proof, but I doubt it! ;)
