Ok, so nobody else started this week's yet...

I'm officially joining this group right now. Wedding reception is less than two weeks, and I still haven't bought the dress. Pledging now to work out 5 times a week until the day. I've been sporadic lately, some weeks only getting to the gym twice.

I worked out at my lunch hour today, so I'm off to a good start.

Would love to go down a dress size for the big day. Right now I'm borderline :(

Good luck everyone on this week's fitness goals!

I think my goals are the same everyweek!

Eat healthy (made a big pot of bean type soup for the week) . . . get all the fruits and vegies consumed as per recommended guidelines.

Walk, workout, GET MOVING!!!

I did a dance workshop this past weekend and got plenty of exercise . . . so feeling a bit out of sorts today since my foot is complaining about the punishment I put it through! So tonight I will get down on floor and do the abs stuff that is needed all the time.

I am off to the gym tonight after work for about 30 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes on the life cycle. I have a salad for lunch and will probably have steamed veggies for dinner.

Oy, I'm a horrendous failure. My exercise goals have deflated faster than a helium balloon on a Minnesota winter morning.

I did, however, suceed in eating somewhat healthy today. I'm vowing to cut my going out to eat at lunch down to once a week.

And, I'm going to excerise 3 times this week.

I TRIED walking yesterday. This was the first time I just got out and walked a long distance since the accident back in October. My doctor has not actually told me I can walk long distances yet, so let's keep that a secret. I walked about 1/2 a mile and I seriously thought my leg was going to break in two! My kids were with me and they thought mommy dragging her leg was the funniest thing in the world! So, back to the pilates and physical therapy for a while!

On an up note....I did fit back into a pair of jeans that I have not been able to wear in about a year!!!!

Congratulations Amy! Abdel asked me what a huge trunk and a big box in the closet were and I told him they were clothes that didn't fit. He told me to get rid of the, we could buy new ones. Men just don't understand the concept of "getting back into that special outfit."

I know some of the stuff will go in the trash as soon as I'm able to say it fits, but I just want to see myself in it one more time before I throw it out.

Gray pleated mini skirt - here I come! Then you can die in peace.

Great work!

Ok, so another day.... Will stick to my plan of working out at lunch. I'm lucky enough to have a gym in my office, so I really have no excuse!

Keep it up, everyone!

Going to work out of the "real" office today (20 mile commute)!!! So, I am planning on making a salad with some chicken. I have one of these containers you can get where you put the salad in the bottom part and there is an attachment on the top where you put the salad dressing (and push down on the soft cap on the top where you poured in the dressing to release the part on the bottom so the dressing can go into the bottom part of the container where the salad really is, LOL) . . . you shake it all up at the time of eating.

Oh, and two fruits along with some youghurt are being backed up to... Hopefully this will keep me from hitting the candy machine in the afternoon!

I heard it's all about drinking water. Someone suggested I drink 90 ounces a day. (I would get exercise running to the bathroom!)

Right before I went on the 'cruise ship from hell' I drank LOTS of water and went down one size. How much do you all drink?

Be careful not to drink too much. I've heard you can wash nutrients out of your body if you drink too too much. Sharon, you're the doctor, how true is this? I was on a program where I was supposed to drink down about 32 ounces in the morning within a 15 minute period, then again later in the day. It made me feel pretty sick.

I think it's a lot easier to drink a ton of water if you work up a sweat first. Also, if you drink a lot of water watch your sodium intake or you'll just bloat up, at least I do.

If I am able to down at least 32 ounces in a day now I'm generally happy, more if I get hard exercise.

I drink at least 64 oz. in addition to what I drink while exercising.

Hey Jenn, noticed you are back in process. We just sent our RFE response Saturday and got confirmation from USPS website that they received it yesterday. I sure hope we can get a fingerprint date soon. Abdel found out this week that his English classes end in June and won't be restarting. They didn't get funding this year. I sure wish he could be working by then but I know I'm probably dreaming.
