don't worry about it . my fiancé filed k 1 on may 6th but we didnt get any notice of action . The two of us freaking out at times.but on september 18,the california service center sent us an approval mail .and it appears to me that there are other members on this site who have experienced more or less the same thing. so , i think everything will be ok . you may get your notice of approval without ever getting a notice of action , which is the important thing anyways.

That's what I was saying. The NOA2 is the document that matters.

My fiance send the petition for k1 in 05-29-2007.

Until now, no NOA1 at all...

BUT

About 2 months ago, my fiance call to USCIS and ask about the NOA1, they said: "We are having problems to print this paper, but is not a big deal as your case is already in the USCIS system. Don´t need to worry."

So, now we have an account in USCIS site and we can look everyday our case status on line, using a name and password.

There it says that they receive our case in 06-08-2007.

Until now I notice two touches (the updates): 09-20-2007 and 09-21-2007...probabilly because in 09-19-2007 my fiance call to USCIS to change our adress.

So, I am not worry about the NOA1, they say that other people didn´t receive either....

But the NOA2, this is important to have in hands...

If you've been able to register with the USCIS, then why is getting the NOA1 such a big deal?

Maybe you have received yours...that is my guess...It is just a receipt. But so comforting to receive in your mailbox. Knowing they recognize you...and the process has started.

We never received our NOA1. My fiance and I live together in Ireland, and the NOA1 was supposed to be sent to his parent's address in the States. We actually asked for it to be resent and that never arrived with them either.

We actually got our petition approved on Oct 4th. Just sitting back and waiting for the NOA2 to arrive now. The USCIS site said that it's been sent, so we will see.
