She said to give it up to 90 days to get there. HELLO???? 90 freaking days to mail something? Are they serious?

Hey Musicgirl, I was fed the same line when I called a few weeks ago, the lady was really rude about it too. As soon as I heard 90 days I just hung up on her. We are jerked around bad enough during this whole process I just can't bring myself to pleasantly accept a line of utter BS like that. I'm going to try and call again tomorrow maybe I'll have better luck. Hang in there we are all getting closer!

I hear you my friend! Hey cool, we have the same NOA2 date :). If you find out anything tomorrow, be sure to let us know! I guess I knew the whole 90 day thing was BS, but it just rankled me to hear it. But next week will be four weeks for us, so hopefully we will hear something!

I just get tired of all this stuff though...anyone else feel like that too? So, I called USCIS today to see if they had even mailed my petition yet, and I think I spoke with someone at the main number, not CSC. Anyways, the lady basically read what was on the website...that they received my petition on May 30th and it was still pending. I was like, oh really??? I'm holding my NOA2 in my hand and it says September 19th. And she says, oh well, the system isn't updated yet. I can't give you any information. Geeeee.......THANKS FOR NOTHING!

And then at the end of the call she asked me if she explained things clearly and if she was understandable....ummmm, yeah except the part where you had no clue what was going on with my petition!

Oh well, I know there is an end to this eventually!

Good luck to us all! :)

Waiting sucks! I don't think it will take 90 days! I'd say 30 days from the NOA2 to the NVC seems to be the average waiting time lately. There have been some lucky couples who their NVC notice a few days after NOA2 but that's not the norm :(

Hang in there!!!!

I had resolved to calling only once a week on Thursdays (no rhyme or reason why I chose Thursday) but tomorrow will be 30 days since my approval so I plan to give NVC a call sometime tomorrow (probably late evening). I'll let you know if I have any success. I have gained so much patience with this process now that I'm not really moved by being told I have to wait. :innocent::blush:

Looking up!

nyblubird, did you get any info? OMG you are at 30 days! I hope you hear something soon! Your patience is inspiring....I need to get some!

Hi everyone!

I am new on this forum and just wanted to introduce myself! I received my NOA2 yesterday and now am in the wait for NVC!!! Hope it is not as agonizing!

How does it work from here? Will my online profile be updated once it is received by NVC? Will I also receive a letter via snail mail? I was so excited when I talked to my lawyer today, I forgot to ask this question!

Also, about how long has it taken recently to be transferred from CSC to NVC lately? Is it really 30 days?? AH

Ok good luck everyone and nice to meet ya'all!

WOOHOO! Welcome to da club! :)

I called NVC this morning and they said they still don't have our case. She said they give the Service Centers 90 for delivery. (I guess before they will do an inquiry)

This process has changed my perspective alot. Knowing that I have a life time ahead with my sweetheart overshadows this slight hinderance. As I wish we were futher along, I'm also happy I'm not still waiting for an approval. There is a bright side!

Looking up!

We got our NOA2 on September 7th and then got the hardcopy a week later, and still NOTHING at NVC. I've called a few times and they keep telling me to wait, and I've even heard the 'It can take up to 90 days to process...' line. I've also called USCIS, and while I did get a very pleasant woman, she told me that from what she understood, K-1's are forwarded directly to the embassy! I said, no, that's not what this notice says and while she tired to help and dig information for me, she really couldn't tell me where it was. It's unreal.

I called USCIS today but she couldn't tell me where our case was either. She also told me I could send a complaint to uscis.webmaster@dhs.gov. This addess is found in the "Contact Us" section on the USCIS website. I'm not going to bother but thought I'd share this information for anyone who'd like to take a shot at it.

Yeah the lady I spoke with last week was incredibly rude. The one today was rude, but in a nice way. Obviously going by a script too...

Has anyone had an interview scheduled yet?

I got my interview scheduled last week for November 19. For some reason the U.S. Consulate here, schedules the interview date at the same time they send you package No. 4. And Package No. 3 does not exist here.. I must submit all the documents during the interview, I guess that makes the process go a little faster.

I think that it will take around 4-5 weeks to get from NVC to the embassy and then however long your particular embassy takes. I heard that london typically takes 11 weeks from P3 to interview.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

Hello all

Here I am to be part of this other "never ending wait".

I was part of the "NOA1 never ending wait",

then "NOA2 never ending wait"

and now "NVC never ending wait"...

I notice that comparing with other months, the time between NOA2 and NVC receive is longer now...some people is waiting about a month already.

So, the problem is about the US mail service that is delay??? Or what? The other months took just a week, sometimes less than a week to arrive.

And ... a question for who is brazilian:

Does anybody knows if Rio de Janeiro schedule interview for the week right before Christmas? They have vacation on that week?

I hope not.

Best luck for everybody.
