Hey guys,

Just realized that Monday is a stupid holiday :( that means everything is closed including the embassies :( Looks like we won't find out about my fiance's interview until Tuesday now...oh well, at least we are getting closer! So those of you waiting for NVC, call today because you won't get any answers on Monday. Good luck to everyone!!!

Timeline:

5/2/07 - Mailed petition to Nebraska Service Center

5/7/07 - Received Petition in Nebraska

5/30/07 - NOA1 - Petition at CSC

9/19/07 - Approved!! NOA2 - 140 days from filing!!!

9/24/07 - Hardcopy NOA2 received

10/29/07 - Sent to NVC - 40 Days from NOA2

10/31/07 - Case received at NVC - Happy Halloween!

11/02/07 - Case left NVC - Yay!

11/08/07 - Case received in Bucharest - picked up Packet 3 from embassy

11/09/07 - Received NVC Letter

11/12/07 - Medical exam

11/19/07 - Interview - success! Visa in hand!

11/21/07 - POE Seattle

1/19/08 - Marriage

2/2/08 - Applied for AOS, AP, EAD

2/8/08 - Received all 3 NOA1's

2/29/08 - Biometrics

3/18/08 - AP and EAD approved, card production ordered

3/24/08 - Received AP in the mail

3/25/08 - EAD card sent in the mail

3/27/08 - EAD received

9/19/08 - Received interview letter - FINALLY!!!

10/17/08 - Interview 11am

10/27/08 - Card Production Ordered

Sorry it wasn't sent out yet, but hopefully you won't have to wait 3 weeks like I did. I'm so glad you finally got your NOA2 though...I just hope Mirla & Byron get theirs soon!

Hopefully you won't have to wait over 6 weeks like i did either!

Timeline:

4/6/07 - Contacted attorney John Roth

5/1/07 - Petition mailed to Texas Service Center

5/7/07 - NOA1 - Petition at CSC

9/19/07 - Approved!! NOA2 - 139 days from filing!!! (mine and several other VJ members petitions were delayed in the mail room on this approval date)

9/20/07 - Postmark for NOA2 hardcopy

9/24/07 - Hardcopy NOA2 received

10/26/07 - Sent to NVC - 43 Days from NOA2 (2 weeks late thanks to the fine folks at CSC mail room!)

11/02/07 - Case received at NVC - Finally!

11/06/07 - Case left NVC - Finally efficient results from the government!

11/14/07 - DOS advises packet has been mailed to Beth. No dates given yet...

11/15/07 - Grace at USE says nothing mailed to Liberty yet.

But she became "documentarily qualified" today, so check back soon.

11-19-07 - Dates assigned on the website!

11-20-07 - Packet 4 postmarked

11-27-07 - Packet arrives

12-07-07 - Copy of Appointment letter arrives in USA. postmark date: 12-05-07

12-27-07 - Assigned Medical Date

12-20 & 21 - Early Medical -- COMPLETED

01-03-08 - USEM Interview -- Approved!!

01-08-08 - Visa pick-up at USEM (3 business days wait because of weekend)

01-11-08 - Fly to USA!

Well I just called CSC and my petition has not been forwarded to NVC yet. I'm not disappointed though. I got a super nice lady and she says it takes a few days after the approval to have it sent on. You know me, I'm the patient one, and definitely happier this week!!!! Alane & Ramzis :luv::luv:

Looks like they are sending petitions about once a week to NVC, so maybe it will be sent next week.

2007-11-02: NVC received our petition.

2007-11-06: NVC forwarded our petition to Manila.

2007-11-24: Packet 4 arrives to Arlyn's home!

2007-12-07: Received NOA2 Hard Copy, FINALLY!

I called CSC on Thursday and was told they sent out a shipment of petitions to NVC on Nov.6. Mine and several others were sent on this date. Call USCIS and find out if they sent yours. Good luck!

5/15/07 - Received NOA1 - California Service Center

5/15/07 - Check cashed.

9/28/07 - I-129F Approved!!

9/30/07 - Touched.

10/04/07 - NOA2 Hard copy received.

11/23/07 - Received 3rd pkt

1/8/08 - Packet sent to Embassy

1/10/08 - Packet received by Embassy.

3/28/08 - Interview in Montreal - Visa approved!

Great news! :thumbs: We're still waiting for our NVC letter.

I hope I call NVC on Tuesday and they tell me they received my petiton. Hope all of us who's petition went from CSC to NVC on Nov.6 get good news next week! Good luck to everyone either coming to or leaving from NVC!

WOOHOO!!! My fiance just turned in his checklist today and got his interview for next Monday, November 19th. If all goes well he will fly in on Wednesday, just in time for Thanksgiving! I can't believe it!!! Yay! :dance::dance::dance:

Okay, there must be something about the 19th....check this out:

Florin officially proposed to me on April 19th, 2007

NOA2 approved on September 19th, 2007

Florin's interview will be on November 19, 2007

Our wedding date is January 19th, 2008
