Hi everyone!

I posted this question on another thread regarding NOA2 to NVC, just repeating it here too:

Has anyone who is waiting that long to reach NVC tried to contact your congressmen regarding that ridiculous wait. It just insane. No verification, no decision that needs to be made, just simply sitting in a mail room and waits to be shipped. May be congressional inquiry on each personal case can move it finally out?

I'm at 32 days since NOA2 and still not at NVC :( I faxed a letter to my senator on Friday, but who knows if I will get any help. I just had to do something! I'm praying that I hear this week. It's awful we have to wait this long just for them to mail it. It's absolutely disgusting.

I'm sorry for those who have been waiting to hear something from NVC for many days now. I wonder why it takes so long for cases filed at CSC to get sent out to their embassies while those cases filed at VSC get sent out in 1 to 5 days...if I'm not mistaken. I know it's not fair. :( I wish you all hear something from NVC soon... God bless

Yes, it's wrong. I don't see any good reason why the petitions approved by VSC get really fast to NVC and for those from CSC takes forever. Btw. we managed to change the embassy at the NVC after constant calling and begging. They said it should be sent out this week!

I faxed a letter to my senator this morning. Don't know if it will help; but have to exhaust all possible resources! This is a helpless feeling for sure! All I know is I'm sure gonna appreciate this man when he gets here!!!

I don't understand what the hold up is at CSC.

What kind of lame excuse can they come up with for keeping petitions for OVER A MONTH and still not having them sent out?!?!?!?!

It amazes me that with all our efforts at patience they keep managing to push the limits just that much further.

ATTENTION ATTENTION

All September approvals!

Our li'l donkey made it to the NVC.

I called the NVC today, and after waiting a ridiculous amount time, I spoke to a super kind woman there.

She told me our package arrived there from the CSC on October 19th!

I started crying.

She was so sweet.

It took 37 days. *phew*

Then I asked her the, gulp, next question, "How long will it take to get to the Mtl. U.S. Cons.?"

She said, "2 to 4 weeks from the day they received it."

All my fingers are crossed, for us and for all of your September approvals still waiting.

Best of luck.

I just went to the website for my Senator, and they had a form to fill out - a release of information form. They asked for my name, phone number, address, SS, CIS number, etc. There was a place to fill in the description of what I needed assistance with. I can't remember exactly what I said, but I just described my situation and asked if she could help me. If you need someone to look over what you intend to send, I would be happy to read it and make corrections, if needed. :)

Okay...so I called. I actually spoke with a very helpful person for a change. She said it wasn't there :crying:. I didn't think it would be there yet, but I was still hoping. She advised me to called CIS and she said I can also send a copy of my NOA2 to NVC Status Inquiry. Not sure if that will help, but maybe I will. *sigh* At least she was nice :)
