It's up to me to make sure everything is in order, he's not as organized as I try to be. I've tried to keep a running list, actually quite successfully, and then it got deleted, so I'm very sorry :crying: I just need reassurance. S'ok, throw stuff at me, just make sure one of them is a pink doilie please :)

To Montreal:

Interview letter

Passport

$100 USD

Copies of original I129, etc

Copies of DS230 and whatever else was in the last packet

I'm not sure about the DS230 part 2......thought we were only suppose to do part one.

They have the entire 129f file there. I didn't bring mine, just the NOAs and they didn't ask for them.

I brought a smaller purse, keys, gum, wallet, jacket, book, glasses......they confiscated a granola bar I had in there, and gave me a ticket to claim it later.. Bring some change for the drink machine.

Like they said, his long birth certificate and a copy, police certificate, and divorce certificates and copies of those.

I was shocked at how little I really had to bring.

He'll be fine, really *S*

hmm yeah, letter of intent. They will ask him if you still want to marry him after all this

Mary

From what we gathered, you can take keys but not the type with the automatic car door opener etc. those are considered a piece of "electronics".. they will give you a ticket for them, you can't bring them upstairs and will give them back to you when you leave the building.

7 days on the Visa, maybe faster.

You only need the Canadian's long form *cringing* birth certificate....you have that right?

Good Luck!! Len and Bren will be there too  She'll be the one shoving people to be the first in line.

Hi casseopei,

Good luck on your interview. I'm just wondering, as you don't have a timeline entered, how long did it take to get your interview - I guess how long ago did you send back your checklist to Montreal?

Cheers!

I'm going to answer that because answering things makes me feel special. They officially received our checklist on April 17 so it took 5-6 months to get an interview. From start to finish the entire process took almost 10 months.
