Dozens of protestors and counter protestors showed up in front of Tucson’s Mexican Consulate as a Mexican flag was burned in a heated debate that saw tempers flare.

Border Guardians, a group formed along the Arizona border to speak out against the estimated thousands of illegal immigrants that enter the U.S. every day through the Tucson sector, led the protest.

[...]

One man stomped, and danced on the Mexican flag. He also taunted the empty, Mexican Consulate to express the group's view:

"(This protest) is against the Mexican government and the Mexicans that are illegally present in the United States right now," says Laine Lawless, Director of Border Guardians, “I want the American people to know that we're going to stand up for them."

Roy Warden added, “You may not enter our country without our permission.”

[...]

Members of the Border Guardians tell News 4, they also plan on burning more Mexican flags at some of the mass marches planned throughout the week.

See, this is just wrong, and this is the exact point to where the legitimate complaint loses all credibitlity.

How dare anyone burn a country's flag!? That's horrible! Only the mongrels do that sh!t...and they should keep in mind how it feels when they see the US flag being burt..

Now that makes me sad...but in all seriousness, that's the worst thing they could have done. Now the pro-illegal group has something on them. I hope they don't really think they represent me, or probably the majority of Americans who are disgusted by such an act.

Don't hold your breath... ppl of these types of ignorant groups always claim they do it for the others benefit without ever actually validating that piece of information.

I disown the ignorant a$$hats myself. They haven't a real clue except their own bias.

I'm just glad to see another flag burned besides the USA's. Spread the wealth. I love the first amendment.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I just don't see the big deal in burning a country's flag...yes, it's stupid, and pointless, and maybe because I'm not a flag-waver myself, I don't get offended at seeing a flag burned, but it's a symbol...it's not a human being's body or a building with human beings in it being blown up. There are so many worse things someone can do to hurt the citizen's of a country.

*dons flame retardant suit and runs*

...He also taunted the empty, Mexican Consulate to express the group's view:...

Yeah, that's showing them who's who!

I'm a veteran and would die for my country. But I also love the freedom of expression. Burn away. But there are many hypocrites in the world (see Islam and the cartoon outrage). They LOVE to burn our flag but lose it when we do the same in return. CHOPF#CKS!!!
