I used to have an account, but it expired :( It only costs like $25 for a month I think. It saved us from buying a couple nice looking, but super crappy cars!

One was a 1996 Audi A4, from the outside it looked like a gem. Then when we saw the carfax and it revealed 35 records, all from accidents, to sitting at a dealer being fixed for MONTHS at a time, odometer being pushed back, failing emission test a couple times. Total shock. Never would have guessed it without carfax. I remember before dissing them, but that was until it saved us.

Good luck in your buy. What kind of car are you looking into getting?

Also, if you don't want to pay the $25 for unlimited month usage, I think on ebay people sell for $1 per VIN report.
