Hi everyone, I hope everyone has a good Tuesday. It's another one of those depressing days again for me today being away from my husband so I think I will take Charles advise and go rent some dvd movies and cuddle up on the couch with my sons and watch some movies and eat some popcorn and drink some bebsi and eat anything that is chocolate.

whats maklooba?

my MIL is tunisian and makes something called matbooba but i guess its not the same thing because you woudlnt make a big pot of it.

It's a main dish that's very popular in Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt. It's made from meat (could be lamb, beef or chicken) with vegetables (often eggplant, potatoes, and/or cauliflower) rice, and lots of spices. It's cooked in one pot on top of the stove, and then turned upside down onto a plate for serving. (The word "maqlouba" means "turned upside down.") The idea is to let the pot mold it into a shape that makes for a very pretty presentation.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I wish I was in bed asleep until noon!

Ditto.

It was nice having a three day weekend. I should do that more often. Although, it made it harder to come into the office this morning.. i must have hit snooze like 9 times
