hello to VJers!

i have a question, is it possible that when the embassy sends me the packet 3 and when i'm about to return it, could i send together the expedite request (for interview) that my fiance has (he will be deploying soon to iraq and he has already a confirmation letter of deployment from his command) im not so sure how to send that letter, do you think it would be alright just to include it in the packet 3?

thank you so much!

Have your fiancee contact the embassy and see how they handle expedition requests.

They will most likely want to see the confirmation letter as well. Your finance's 1st Sgt. can probably help with that too. It's always good to have someone back you up on that.

It might also be good for you to bring it in person (if the embassy is close). A face to face with someone will show them how sincere you are and remind them of the person behind the paperwork :). If you can not go then mail it and call them in person to let them know it is coming :).

Like the other person said, call them at the consulate to make sure you follow their specific policy regarding this. :)

A friend in the same situation had the interview expedited by having a letter faxed from his CO to the interviewing embassy.

No idea what was in the letter!

Turned out he wasn't deployed anyway! But he didn't complain!
