As a few of you might know, I was waiting to activate my visa until I saved up enough money from my job towards student loan debts, moving costs, and all that fun stuff. A few weeks ago there was a bit of a crappy incident at work - however, it really encouraged me to turn in my notice much earlier than I had decided. Bee and I managed to find a much earlier flight without too much trouble (or cost - of course we'd booked the ticket before all this happened!) so now I'm leaving on the 11th of October instead of November 3rd like we thought I was.

Now I'm busy with leaving-the-country stuff and avoiding my family's grumpy looks - "What do you mean, you're leaving a month early?!" - and while I adored my job at the store, you betcha that I'm looking forward to sleeping in on the weekends and not having to deal with crazy customers at work! WAHOOOOOOO! :D

Oh, and yeah... the thought of being reunited with Bee after 15 months of living apart = pure joy.

Hey now, I never said I was going to ditch the Canada forum! Who's going to harass Tinker about her pink doilies?
