I realized that the date on my timeline... adjudicated as early as September 24, 2007*.... keeps changing to the current date. Has anyone had this experience? Will it say September 25, tomorrow? I am 129 days from my NOA1 and followed this date but I guess it is not that accurate. I have seen people approved before this date more so then after.

I just posted this same question about five minutes ago. It seems to me that if the VJ timeline increases one day everyday, we will never reach the given adjudication date. I do not understand why this is happening either but it is very disturbing. Maybe VJ dates are not reliable any longer. Mine does not show todays date but my projected approval date keeps going up everyday.

According to the VJ stats you are way over the average for VSC. Is something going on at VSC to cause this delay between the NOA1 and 2?

I saw that one VJ member has a date of September 17 (which was last Monday) so maybe it stops moving after a while.

I don't know about all of you but it's pretty depressing that I started at October 25th and am now on November 29th and having been moving back a day every day! I am afraid to look at it anymore!

The adjudicated date is merely an estimate based on the trends of current petitions being approved out of VSC. As we all know, there have been precious few these last few months. So, each time someone updates their VJ timeline, the algorith automatically adjusts itself based on that data. Sine the timelines are getting longer and longer, so too does the estimated adjudicated by date. Sigh. It sucks big time.

The date is an estimate based on a formula that looks at the timelines of other members on the site. So, when other members update their time lines, the formula reruns and gives an estimate. It may go up or down based on what happens. For instance if people were waiting 30 days between NOA1 and NOA2 then it would estimate 30 days. If three people get NOA2s after waiting 100 days, then it will adjust to a new average. There have been quite a few approval out of CSC, not as many out of VSC. So with every approval and updated timelines, the forumla will adjust your date. I wouldn't marry myself to that date, but it gives you a goal and an idea of when to really start harassing the service center if you still haven't heard anything.

Do not blame the visa journey for that, it's only an estimate of the average persons who recived their NOA2. Sometimes I dont check it too because I get disappointed too... Maybe better too check for it once a week, so that we get less depression. hehe ;) Sooner or later we're gonna have it, so be patient ;)
