:thumbs: I sent mi I-130 application with mi I-129f together on july 25.they sent my noa 1 for the

i130on sept 22 and also sent back the whole packet of 129f.with mi money order of 170 dollars.

I called them and asked them this morning if i could sent them back the same money order with

the noa1 and the application 129f.they tould me that i only have to send the application or packet and the noa1 from the 130.That the new law states that if you have a i-130 pending the 129f has no fee

even thou you sent it with the old price (190 dollars) thats cool evrybody. is in it??? anybody else called the svs center and got the same answer?????

You are not alone.... Others have filed the I-130/I-129f under the old structure only to have the I-129f accepted without payment

They also returned my payment for the I-129F, even though I sent them together before July 30. Since you sent yours to TSC, it was forwarded to CSC. Since CSC received it after the fee change, they are not charging you for the K-3.

8/28/2007 - NOA-1 date - CSC

3/19/2008 - NOA2 date -CSC

I-130 held by USCIS for future AOS

I-129F

7/27/2007 - Sent I-129F Package to TSC*

7/30/2007 - Received by TSC

8/30/2007 - NOA-1 - Fee waived

3/19/2008 - NOA2

4/3/2008 - Received by NVC

4/10/2008 - Received by embassy

4/11/2008 - Faxed packet 3 forms to embassy

4/30/2008 - Appointment date assigned

6/19/2008 - Appointment at Bogota Embassy - APPROVED!!!

No touches except when I called CSC directly to inquire.

8/28/2008 - POE Houston

Still being lazy and waiting to do AOS.

*I-130 and I-129F sent together to TSC per USCIS instructions.

Yours is about the 5th such report that "You do have to pay nothing..." in the way of filing fees for the I-129F for spouse.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
