I am wondering, did any of you guys filed I-129F also??? I am trying to understand if filing I-129F is delaying I-130 approvals.

Well if your going for the CR1/IR1 visa, dont bother with the I129F, especially if your case was unfortunate to get caught in the receipting delays. Other wise once you start the K3 process and submit the I129F your recieved date will change to reflect that of the I129F. This could be 90+ days AFTER you submitted your I130. No need to go backwards you know what I mean. It seems that maybe that may the situation with your case. I'm not sure. maybe you should check out the K3 timelines and see whats going on with them because essentially that is the track you are trying to go on. :thumbs:

Guys quick question, When did u send in the I-130? Also, what did the online status say before it said it was approved? like what date did USCIS say it received your petition? Mine says USCIS received my petition on Dec 20. I sent it on Aug 01. Thank you.

Ah Ha! I see the mistake...it was a big one too! I copied form J-Boy but they had the wrong timeline in their post.
