7/17/2005----I met the love of my life.

1/18/2006----Arrived in Egypt to visit my love.

5/11/2006----Sent I129F.

6/15/2006----Recieved NOA1.

6/22/2006----Recieved RFE (IMBRA).

7/12/2006----Replied to RFE (IMBRA) Sent back.

7/17/2006----Our 1 year Anniversary!!!!

7/19/2006----VSC recieved RFE (IMBRA).

7/20/2006----touched

8/18/2006----touched

8/18/2006----NOA2!!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!

8/18/2006----VSC sent our petition to NVC.

8/19/2006----touched

8/22/2006----NVC recieved our petition.

8/23/2006----NVC sent our petition to Cairo Embassy.

8/25/2006----Recieved NOA2 Approval letter in the mail.

8/28/2006----Recieved NVC letter with new case number.

8/31/2006----Cairo Embassy recieved our petition.

9/24/2006----I emailed the Embassy reguarding my fiance's packet 3.

10/17/2006--Cairo sent packet 3 for the second time to my fiance. First one was never recieved.

10/19/2006--Packet 3 recieved.

12/20/2006--Packet 3 sent.

12/21/2006--Cairo Embassy recieved packet 3.

2/21/2007---Packet 4 recieved.

3/12/2007---Interview (He Passed)!

3/12/2007---Administrative Processing begins.............God please help me get through this!

7/17/2007---Our 2 Year Anniversay!!!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Is it ME? or did anyone else notice...that most of the waiting visas are k3???? :unsure: That doesn't seem fair...but I was wondering if the checks on those are harder...because when they are approved they are approved for everything up front...but a k1 STILL has to go through AOS, EAD and another interview in 2 years....could THAT be the reason? I dont' think its fair...but...was wondering??????? :unsure::unsure::unsure:

A k-3 is not that mch different than a K-1. coming on a K-3 you still have to go through AOS and get an EAD and have another interview unless you have been married for than 2 years when the green card is issued.

The only advantange of a K-3 is you can put off filing AOS and use the K-3 to travel home before AOS is complete.

K-1 has the advatage of a temp work authorization.

Yeah my husband will be able to come and go as he wishes...he just won't be able to pay for it! :lol::lol:

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

Thank you all again everyone! :energetic: :luv:

I'll keep you all posted on when he's coming, just waiting for him to buy those plane tickets :). The house is mostly clean & ready, all that's left is the sunroom, kitchen, & bathroom and they should go pretty fast!

And I just got back from being fitted for my wedding dress...it's so beautiful (don't worry when we get married I'll definitely post pictures...and prom pictures, water_ is_wide ;) )

Well we really started the week off with a bang, let's see some more visas!

Just a note to say DHL delivered the visa this morning :). Hopefully he's out buying plane tickets RIGHT NOW. lol

03/13/2010 - U.S. Passport in hand

Hi!! I just wanted to tell you how happy and excited I am for you and Ramy. I hope everything goes well with your grandmothers surgery, and she is able to dance at your wedding, HOPEFULLY it won't be in a chair with your hubby. LOL

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.
