Our approved K3 petition was sent to Ciudad Juarez the first week of September. I know we're waiting for a package with instructions to prepare for the appointment.......but how soon should we expect it? Will it also include our interview date, or does that come later? Also, do they only send the packet to the beneficiary, or also to the petitioner's US address?

Sorry, I couldn't find info that specific anywhere. Thanks in advance!

The package you can download online, but you need to receive a letter of appointment in order to take your medical examination, and to know your interview date

I think you should call the Ciudad Juarez consulate and tell them that you haven't received a letter of appointment and ask whether they have sent it and if you have an interview date.

Who knows, they may be able to fax you the letter of appointment

One good way to get an idea for time frame would be to check out people's timelines who have left feedback for your embassy. Click on "Embassy Info", then find Mexico, then click on "Feedback and Ratings". Click on each individual member profile and check their timelines to get an idea for how long it takes.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info! If I call Juarez, should I just ask if they got the petition, or if they've sent our package, or what?

Well, I called. The agent told me our petition 'qualified' on Sept. 19, whatever that means........hopefully it means our packet is on the way.
