When do you get this number.. i am ready to send my package off ( I-129f) and i feel like I am sending into a black hole. I assume they will send me something after I mail it off and they receive my package...

You just put NONE in those spaces. You'll get them later.

Hopefully your petition won't end up in a "Black hole"!

You will receive your "A" number once you get the NOA 2 a few months down the road. As stated above leave that part blank. You will first receive a NOA1 which will tell you they have received your petition then a few months later after gong through the process you will get the NOA 2 then the wait will begin. Good luck wit the process.

NOA means Notice of Action, you will get 2 of them

Are you talking about on the I129fwhere two lines above it says 'do not write in these blocks or on the G325a where the example form says to write 'none'?

The "Black Hole".....hahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Yes indeed, USCIS does feel like a black hole sometimes!

Once they get your package and cash the check, you will be able to see a copy of the back of the check where they will stamp your receipt number. Not sure where you filed, but if it's VSC it will start with "EAC" if it's CSC then "WAC". You can then log on here (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp;jsessionid=acbaYjVZR_YgU6kInv1ur) and you can register to get updates.

Good luck!

Vanessa.

Hello,

I was checking thru the website looking for the receipt # so I can track my case.

I send my I-129F and it was received on CSC on Aug 23rd, 2007.

My check was just cashed yesterday.

I was looking at your signature and I noticed seeing that the Visa you are applying for was denied.

How is that going now? Are you able to re-apply again. And if you dont mind me asking. Why was the visa denied.

Thanks.
