Anybody know of a way to check your case status without the NOA1 receipt number? I filed for i-130 on Aug 25th with NSC. I was wondering if there is a way to track it by SSN#, name or something like that?

i would love to know... 45 days :(

i figured maybe they do some sort of entry right before they send it to CSC or VSC, and maybe calling them and asking them to sort by name, you could find some news, and I asked my husband to call them for me, but he wont :(

I know that I filed my I-130 in June, and it did not show up in their system until Sept 11th, my check took almost a month to be cashed, filed I-129F late July. Even after the 129F showed up in their online system they couldnt tell me the status of the I-130 (and I tormented the bassards) until sometime around mid-august, a senior immigration officer had to look it up. Have to encourage patience on this one and good luck to the two of you.

You can't track by SS# but if you see back of your cancelled check there shoud be a tracking number statring with three Letters which is you case number, then you can sign on to USCIS site to find out your status and also email them for NOA1

benificiery name

date of births for both

date application file and the center where it was filed

receipt # if available

It says that it was sent on sept 19, but only arrived today. Also, the check was cashed today, which is kind of weird, but OK i am happy :)
