Doing the packet 3 dance

Well I just got home - damn house is colder than a witches whatsit - and of course packet 3 was waiting on the doormat for me.

I got the nod from NVC the day BEFORE I flew out that they'd sent it to London - after them telling us they hadn't received it yet and me figuring I had plenty of time before they got it. Oh well - go figure, lol

So now I have a confusing bundle of paperwork to go with the half ton of paperwork I picked up from my SO while I was visiting (and doing laundry, lol).

I tried reading it already but the words just blurred

There is now SOOOO much to do - medicals to book, shots to get done (I know I don't NEED them for the K1 but I wanted to get some before I went as per the advice here about the COST of the shots stateside), child's pix to get done, banks to organise.

Anyone else feel like like for ages nothing happens then it all happens almost TOO fast??

I guess half jetlagged, cold and confused (lol) isn't the best time to start thinking about it all but I just wanted to share my thoughts

Aww....it'll be fine! Baby steps.

Book the medicals first. Odds are they'll be far enough out you can then think about getting the shots done between now and time for them.

Then you can fill out the papers. We'll be here if you have more questions....they aren't really so bad.

Snappy Snaps does the right size pics so if you've got one of those handy, that'll be good.

I already HAVE my pix but the little one hasn't had hers done yet - thats on the to-do list for THIS week lol.

And I need to sort out my shots ( I think I just need MMR and tetanus booster) and get the GP to give me a ltter showing what shots I've had over the years (which could run into PAGES as Ive travelled worldwide, extensively, lol).

Same for us after the cold CSC wait things flew for us and we hurried up and got the interview day. Now everything is done and we are waiting on the day!!! Get your paperwork sent in and get a interview date asap!!!!!!!

I hear ya Dennis But today is not a good day for me to start filling things in - I just spent 10 mins looking for my police report which I had done last year (sept) and it was in with my paperwork the whole time I just couldn't SEE it so I had a small panic.. plus right now my spelling sucks SO bad (cold, tired etc) I'll prolly fill in all the forms wrong or sign the darn things by mistake

And munchkins, Damn sure need something to warm me up now Im not with my SO

I actually got off my exhausted butt today (yes Im still awake since I got back this morning - now running on fumes I think ) and booked for my shots.Alas first available appointment was april 26th.

Think my little one needs a tetanus as well - but wasnt sure so may just pay for hers at medical if I cant get it done real quick.

And no I filled in NO forms...don't trust myself to spell my own name correctly right now
