Hi. I submitted my I-130 form to the California Service Center April 3rd but unfortunately I did not understand that I needed to include copies of EVERY SINGLE PAGE of my passport! I only included a copy of the 1st page with my picture and passport info. What will happen? Will they send back the whole packet? Should I call someone and who? I am a US citizen petitioning for my Belizean husband; I had included the passport copy to prove my citizenship (since it was the most accessible, instead of submitting my birth certificate for example). Please help me ASAP as I do not want any more painful delays!

They'll send you an RFE once they get to your petition and ask you to send in ALL pages of your passport at that time.

However, and I'm not sure if this would work, you could of course mail the missing information to CSC after receiving your NOA1. Then, you would have your case number and you could ask them to add the information to your file.

So don't worry; your error will make things slightly more complicated but you will be ok.

I agree with fischkoepfin. You may also send them the photocopy of your birth certificate along with all pages of yoru passport. Write a cover letter explaining why you are sending all and include the photocopy of NOA-1.

You will NOT need to send both a your passport and your birth certificate as evidence of citizenship. They will accept either one. But you're right they will need all pages of your passport if that what you choose to provide them.

Yes, they will accept either one. But since the passport has lot of pages, a copy of birth certificate can be handy, if any page(s) from the passport are found to be missing.

I doubt that items mailed in 'blind' like that would ever be matched up with the file. I've heard this idea proposed before, but never once heard of it succeeding.

I am a bit confused on this one. On the I-130 I send in a copy of my passport to prove that I am a US citizen, and I didn't include all of the pages, just the one with my personal information. They approved the petition, so it must have been okay.

Is it different with the I-129? Are they looking at it for more than just prove of citizenship? Who told you that you needed all of the pages? Do you need to prove that you have been to the intendeds country at this point?
