She didn't like that very much :) But she did proceed to give me a very nice hefty ticket :P

So this cop pulls a guy over.

Cop- "Good day, sir. License and registration please."

Guy- "Oh my god, whatever you do, don't check my glove box, that's where I keep my loaded gun."

Cop- "What? You've got a loaded gun in your glove box?...... (Cop draws his gun out on the guy and points it right in his face) GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW!!! GET OUT!!! HANDS UP!!!"

So the guy gets out, hands up, etc. and the cop slams him down, handcuffs him, stuffs him in the back of the police car and starts searching the guy's car. He doesn't find anything. No loaded gun, no money, no drugs, nothing contraband at all. So now, he's thinking to himself "oh $#!T! Did I hear that guy correctly, I thought he said he had a loaded gun. Oh no. There was nothing there... it's all on the cruiser cam, it's going to be on the news tonight, we're going to get our @$$es sued off. Chief's going to kill me." So, he calls for the chief to come out to the scene and talk about what he should do with this guy.

The chief arrives, the cop explains what happened and how the guy said he had a gun but there was nothing there and he slammed him down, etc., etc., etc., and how worried he was about getting into a big PR nightmare. The chief sits back for a moment, looks over the car, looks over the guy, looks over the cop... then opens the door to the cop car and lets the guy out, apologizing for the cop's behavior saying "this is just standard procedure when one of our guys feels like he could be in danger. He told me he thought you said you had a gun..... "

The guy stops him and says "Yeah, and I bet that @$$hole told you I was speeding too!"

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Reminds me of one of the times I got stopped. I have a lead foot and cannot help it - it's inherited. So I was taking doughnuts (really) to my friends' job and when I got stopped, the cop asked what was in the bag? I said "Doughtnuts - Oh, do you want one?" He took one and let me go. Now THAT's funny!
