I think you need a F1-visa but i'm not sure. I had a k-2 visa and i'm on AOS atm but i'm in school.

EDIT: I think you can since you can study with a K2.

There is no restriction on study. Visit the school you are interested in and talk to their admissions department.

I work for the University of NY, and put my wife into 2 classes before she got green-card, not a problem.

Keep in mind if the school is state funded, you may be charged NON-Resident tuition rate.

I went to the local communicty college and there would have been no problem for me to study there. All they required was to see my NOA for the AOS. I couldn't afford the fees, but apart from that it was all good. Now the rules are different in every College/University, so you should check directly with them.
