Hey there guys,

I haven't really thought about it until today. I have my interview in Romania soon. My fiance Mike is flying to Romania with his mom the day before in order for us to have a little reception for my relatives in Moldova. The embassy info states that the fiance can be present at the interview. Will his mom be able to sit somewhere in the embassy while we go through the process? I don't have where to leave her since we're taking the train to Moldova right after the interview?

Thank you

Elena

Aight. I guess the question is a bit too weird.

I'm just going to have her come to the embassy with us. I guess she should be allowed to sit somewhere and wait....It's an American soil afterall

I know your fiance will be able to be inside the embassy with you but i don't know about his mother, is a little bit strange (i think). Anyway is a restaurant just in front of the embassy (and many close) so will not be a problem if she will wait there. I supose you wont stay more than one hour inside.

Good luck!!!

If they will give you the visa in the same day will take about 2 hours, if not... they will ask you to come back the next day.

Try to go inside how fast you can and you will have the interview faster so=> visa faster...

When I went to the Embassy in KTM to get the Letter of No Contest(needed to get married in Nepal), my husband(then fiance) and my FIL came along. They allowed my FIL in the building, but he was not allowed to go into the actual interview room. I think each Embassy makes up its own rules, up to a point???
