Today was retail therapy. I bought the cutest pink/brown purse! Which meant I had to get a brown jacket. Which lead to shoes...you get the picture.

I want a kitty. :luv: But I may have a fall trip coming up and would not want to leave it home alone.

For some reason I feel kind of sad today. It's pouring and dark. My daughter went out with her father so I won't see her again until tomorrow. I feel awfully sluggish and sad. I think I'm gonna sleep or watch movies today. Maybe I should call my sweetie. He always cheers me up. This woman on Bridezillas said Xanax is her friend. Maybe I need to make new friends? She seems very chipper!

Fall Trips Rock!!!!

Today was allright for me... I am making some home made chicken, mushroom, and tater soup along with green bean stu (green beans, maters, onions, peppers, spices). Add the pita bread, hummus, olives, labneh, and drinks and I think we're good to go.

Doodle your kitty pic is super cute but it made me so sad, I had a big black furry male cat until thursday. I woke up super early and although my cats are generally indoor I OCCASIONALLY let them out and they stay in the yard. well my big black boy was crying and crying to go out so I let him. A couple of hours later it was time to go to work/school and he wasnt back but I had to go, so I left. With my son in the car we turned off our street to go to his school and there in the road I saw my guy with his head smashed in. Needless to say it was a hideous hideous moment and how I wish I had taken a minute to go look at the road before I had my son with me, he was so torn up and so was I. Adnan hasnt had much experience with pets and certainly not with pet deaths. Its been a tough couple of days around our house. Funny, I know they are 'just' animals but they sure seem like members of the family.

Note to self and other cat owners, if you live near a road dont let them out. :crying:

On a lighter note, I love the pink and brown combo too. Someone at my office gave me a bunch of pink and brown baby clothes and they are SO SO cute. I cant wait to play dress up! :P

ohhhh i am so sorry about ur kitty....that is so tragic - - - - -

to cheer u up and get a laugh on me - my big gray cat was playing with his toy mouse (so I thought) and my little 2 yr old was ? what it was and I said oh its just Osmonde (my cats name) toy mouse. So I proceeded to pick it up to show my son, and when I picked it up...well it wasn't a toy mouse so much as a real mouse - - - oh my - mommy screamed threw it on the ground (thank goodness it was not alive!) took a few baby wipes, closed my eyes and the little guy took a swim down the toilet!!! ok after my heart stopped pounding i cracked up!!!!! I am sure the look on my face was priceless!!!!
