I too am sorry that he couldn't hold on and have more faith in you and the relationship you had together. Better now than down the road and married. Kinda hard to see that right now I'm sure. Hold your head high...you did everything you could. Best wishes for the future. (F)

Mar 26, 2008 Pick up completed Single Cert from the Registro Civil & deliver to Embassy

Apr 2, 2008 Deliver Australian Single status cert to Embassy

Apr 8, 2008 Approved!! Visa in hand same day :)

At least you'll know that it wasn't your fault that hings didn't work out. You did everything you could, and sooner or later he will find out the mistake that he did giving up, but by then it'll be too late. Keep your head high and give time, time and in the end it'll be snother experience in your life. There's a season for everything under heaven, just remember that, I wish you the best......

AOS:

August 8, 2008: We're married!! (both the ceremony and legal wedding)

September 11, 2008: Got the marriage certificate in the mail!! 

September 20, 2008: Sent AOS packet (I-485, EAD, AP)

September 22, 2008: USPS confirmed delivery at LockBox

September 26, 2008: Check Cashed!! :)

September 25, 2008: Recv'd date on all NOA's 

September 30, 2008: Received all 3 NOA's: I-485, EAD, AP

Ocotber 10, 2008: RFE for I-485 (needed proof of citizenship for sponsor) :S

October 21, 2008: Biometrics @12 pm in Ft. Lauderdale~over and done with in 5min!!~

October 22, 2008: documents for RFE sent via Priority Mail

October 24, 2008: documents received at MO

November 6, 2008: Case transferred to CSC :D

December 10, 2008: EAD approved!! Card production ordered!

Dec. 15, 2008: Rec'd EAD and AP via mail.

March 2, 2009: AOS Approved

March 9, 2009: Green Card Received!!!

March 24, 2020: N400 submitted (online)

January 2021: notice stating no new Biometrics needed

April 15, 2022: Notice to Appear for interview and exam

June 4, 2022: Interview/Exam Day! 🥳

I'm finally getting around to this. The part where I have to post that my fiance has changed his mind. I don't know the exact reasons he now feels this way other than the seperation we've had to endure. I think he just didn't keep the faith that we would be together. It's all very tragic.

Thanks to all the couples for the advice I've received here and I wish you all, the very best and quick reunions!!!

If I'm not mistaken, you wrote about him vacillating on your marriage a little while ago?---right? I'm very sorry---I can't imagine how you must be hurting. You deserve (and will find) better. The black hole you are in right now will fade with time.

7/4/2006 visited for 1 week in Russia (Independence Day!)

12/26/06 three week visit in the U.S.

4/6/07 He came to US for 6 glorious weeks

5/20/07 He returned to Ufa, RU

5/24/07 Mailed I-129F to NSC!!!!!

5/25/07 Received and signed for by F Heinauer, NSC

6/11/07 NOA1 (NEVER received hard copy)

8/23/07 Ramzis comes to America for another visit

10/02/07 Ramzis returns to Russia

11/06/07 NOA2 at LAST!!!

12/17/07 Received at NVC (at last!)

12/18/07 Sent to Moscow Embassy & New NVC Case Number

12/21/07 Received at 11:08 a.m. Moscow Embassy

1/25/08 Received packet from Embassy

03/07/08 Interview 8:00 a.m. Moscow Embassy! VISA APPROVED!!!

03/13/08 Visa in Hand

03/14/08 Flying to U.S. - Detroit POE

03/15/08 Our Wedding Day!

:( I'm so sorry to hear of this. I know Pete and I have had our share of squabbles, and even broke up for a couple of weeks. The stress with this visa process is enough to send anyone over the edge...having to be kept away from the one you love for so long. We have reconciled, and just look forward to the future....we know how we are in person with one another, and that the love is strong. The internet and telephone conversations are just temporary. Perhaps he will have a change of heart, if it is meant to be. If not, best to find out now, and realize that there is still someone out there worth your love. xxx Best of luck to you. (F)

08 Nov. 2007--Visa Interview & Approved

14 Nov. 2007--Pete receives K1 visa in the mail

21 Nov. 2007-- Pete arrives in the United States (together at last!!)

27 Dec. 2007--Our 3 year anniversary of being engaged

16 Feb. 2008--We were married!!
