I am sucked into the portal of the web and amoung my surfing today I came across this:

http://www.muslimgirlmagazine.com/web/index.cfm

I like magazines and was wondering if a subscription to this one would be worth it for entertainment and positive information.

Anyone read it or heard of it or have daughters that reads it? If not anyone else subscribe to anything like this?

Olivia :luv:

I subscribe!!!! I love that magazine! I have read some really great articles and I love how it shows all types of muslim girls, hijabis, non hijabis, etc. It shows that girls can do sports, etc. and still dress conservatively, etc.

My daughters do read it but they won't admit it. They're not muslim and I think they think I'm trying to convince them by leaving the magazine around. :innocent: I know that my oldest reads it though 'cause in this month they had some cool Eid clothes for teens and younger twenties and I showed one outfit to her and she said, "yeah I saw that one but I like this one better".

Anyway I highly recommend it because it's jam packed with good info not just for teens but for everyone. They're also currently looking for any teens or girls in their young twenties that are muslim to interview.

Kewl! It looks pretty good and I also thought of you when I saw the EID fashion article on the webpage because I saw your EID fashion post. LOL! I do love fashion! In Cairo I remember the fabulous shoe displays and dress shops and I would drag Waleed around window shopping and stare at the prices asking him to convert it. He would tell me these shoes are $15 USD and I would reply "Oh lets buy them all!" His sister commented "She is a true woman." LOL :luv:
