Form mistakes?

Can anyone provide insight into what will happen with my visa application (I-130) since I sent it in with only the front of my birth cert copied, and my passport I only sent the first page and the page containing my Brazil visa (where my wife is from)? I started the visa process on my own, with no assistance, and just this week found VJ. It's been very helpful, but unfortunately for me much of the guidance comes a little too late.

Is USCIS so picky that they will send my application back to me with a RFE over that minor detail?

2007-07-16 Filed I-130 with Nebraska

2007-07-27 NOA1 received

2007-07-28 Touched; no idea why..

2008-01-29 thru 02-01,03 Touched

2008-02-05 Called RFE line, was told my app is on HOLD because I CALLED TOO MUCH!!!!

2008-02-13 my app was assigned to an adjudicator

2008-02-19,20,25,26 Touched

2008-03-04 Congressman called; USCIS called him and told him my cases were being processed any day now... SERÁ??

If they send you an RFE, they do not send back your petition. They'll keep the petition on file until they receive the information they ask for in the RFE.

If they outright reject your petition, it is usually because not enough money was sent to cover the processing fees.
