Hey, I was in the same situation as you. My last update was June 12th and it said my case was still at that National Benefits Center. Someone at my Congressman's office checked and they were told my case was "Interview Ready" and just waiting to be scheduled for an interview. In my area they are currently interviewing the cases filed in Dec 2006, so we have a little bit of a wait. So I think just because your case is still at the NBC doesn't mean that its not in the line for an interview. Probably the most you'll get out of an infopass is being told that your case is waiting for an interview, but if you have the time it doesn't hurt to ask.

P.S. Just wanted to add I did not contact my congressman to inquire about the status. I had been in contact with them since we got an RFE for the medical exam back in May. They followed up on their own, which was really helpful of them :-)

That is so strange that you mentioned this about your congressman's office. I just received an email from my congressman's aide, asking me for my receipt number for my AOS application. She is going to contact them to find out the status of my case and what the next steps will be....whether an interview date will be scheduled or a transfer to CSC.....i'm thinking an interview date.

I had been in contact with my congressman's office regarding my EAD. I never thought that they would follow up on my AOS application too. :D

Update: I called my congressman's aide to find out if she had heard anything back from MSC.....she told me that they had advised her my case is "interview ready" and just waiting for my local office to schedule an interview date.

She told me that she is going to give my local office a call to find out where i am in the waiting list for an interview date and roughly how long its going to take. The aide said she would let me know what my local office says as soon as she finds anything out. :)

Separated!!
