check the DMV website for your state. Every state is different. In most states she can drive with a foreign license for a month or so, but once she is legally considered a resident (resident by state law standards, not immigration law!), then she will need to get a state driver's license. And who is eligible to do that is different in each state as well.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

Missouri is where his Service Center is located. If you click on Erika's Husband's website it states the other side of the river in Kansas City, KS.

I did not expect you to know this and was just having fun. I also saw the other thread on getting a driver's license in Alabama. Keep up the good work pushbrk!!

Maybe my NOA2 is being delayed a day for every unintended typo or mistake I have made on this forum.

Thanks, yeah, I did see the KC MO local office. Funny. I think I was just too quick to enjoy typing Abalama to notice.

To clear up the confusion  I'll be checking both. I live on the Kansas side of the state line, but only by about 1/2 mile. I live in Kansas City, KS, which has probably half the population of Kansas City, MO. There's everyone's US Geography lesson for the day.

Thanks for the advice. I'll let everyone know what I find out.
