Our proof of having met was 3 or 4 photos, my ticket stubs / boarding passes from all my flights (I never threw them away - no idea why not tho, lol), passport entry stamps copies, a phone bill, 2 or 3 emails and that was about it.

For ongoing relationship - interview time - I'll be taking all that, plus another 3 emails, couple of phone bills and visa bills, more boarding passes, cards we sent each other (with envelopes where I have them), and our engagement ring receipts.

Im not taking TONS of stuff - I can't see the point of printing out TENS of emails - they barely look at them from what I heard - and anyways I'll have enough forms and copies/ originals of certificates n what not. I want to carry it with me, not rent a wheelbarrow to get it there!

I did my K1 with 2 pages and 2 pictures of proof within the last 2 years. 2 pages consisted of copies of my tickets, boarding passes and stamps in my passport, then 2 pictures.

I had her take 50 to 100 pages of proof to the interview, which she needed 1 picture. (And of course this cost a bundle to fedex to Ukraine!)

I talked to a lawyer and he told me to KISS (Keep it simple stupid, or er Keep it Simple Smartguy). I was approved in 14 days at Nebraska no less.

We haven't applied yet but ours is 10-20 pages.

And just exactly when are you going to apply?!:clock::lol:

For someone to already be a gold member that hasn't even sent in their I-129F, I wonder how many hearts you will have by the time you get your visa?! :o:P

:whistle::whistle::hehe:

 Indeed, I came here and started to prepare my I-129F, but until I was able to complete my forms, get all my questions answered, take the pic, get the evidence, and mail it to my fiancee, 15 days had gone by, and then another 15 for the forms to get there (stupid post office), so I've been posting here for over a month. :P Our application will be filed tomorrow, as he finally got the forms I sent today.

And yeah, I feel I am really prepared, as while I waited I did a ton of research, so hopefully we won't get an RFE.

Updating to say we assembled ours, and it came out actually with 47 pages, not 10-20. I thought it'd be less, but it's 8 papers for the G-325, plus I-129, plus letters if intent, declarations, letters, pictures and all that.

I also agree with Kaydee. While having plenty of evidence is good, it's the quality that counts.

As for marking on the copies, I used I highlighter to highlight the parts I wanted them to be sure to see, such as dates and names.

Remember, these people process a lot of applications. The idea is to make it easy for them, not hard! :)

Good luck!

The law requires that you have met personally face to face within the last two years. Anything that you send them that is outside of the two years will do nothing to get your petition approved. Make sure that you include evidence of meeting within the past two years.

I think some people need to re read the above.

1 photo.

I page.

That was also sufficient at Consulate stage but best to go by what YOUR Consulate expects.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

At this point all you need to do is prove you met in the last 2 years, you are both free to marry, the pettitioner is a USC and you have the intent to marry. The rest is all saved for the interview. Just send in the stuff that slam dunks the stuff they want. I sent: copies of my passport showing my entry/exit stamps. Airplane ticket stubs. 10 pics of us together. my divorce decrcee. her annullment papers. my BC. a notarized affidavid stating I want to marry Luz.

I have been putting together all the stuff she will need at the interview. Since I am going to see her again in June I thought I might as well get all that together now and take it with me. Already I have over 200 pages of stuff. Phone records, pay stubs, letters, pictures, original BC, original divorce papers. She will also have a boatload of stuff. TONS of pictures. monthly westernunion recepts for her budget I send. letters. ect.ect.ect...

The interview is where the more the merrier!
