We've known each other for 6 years and a bit so we've tried alot of different technology devides to stay in touch. Guess I best do a timeline before it gets confusing:

2000-2003 we used AOL instant messenger (just typed)....during that time he showed himself on his webcame once through the Logitech website....thats when AOL instant Messenger wasn't advanced. He used to really tease me because his AOL would upgrade like a month or more before mine in the UK. We loved the little background things and icons and really personalising the IM box. He always wrote in this handwritten type navy font that made me have to press my nose against the screen in order to read it! But I still loved that because again it was his choice of custamising and was "Him" ya know? We wrote occasional emails if we'd miss each other online because of the time difference. Swapped music files occasionally through email.

2004 - We both left AOL due to pricing and me getting myself tangled up in alotta #######. He moved to SBCglobal and I moved to BT Yahoo Broadband so our IM messenger changed to Yahoo Messenger. Which despite it not being all fancy and graphic like wsa very nice because I heard his voice for the first time through the voice function. It took me MONTHS to talk back to him (very shy)...then the webcams came up and

04-06 We're glued to Yahoo Messenger and use MSN as a backup. I phone him occasionally if the net goes down or whatever....we chat till it comes back on, he has a special pricing thing so its low price for him to phone me in the UK (can't remember the company he went with). We also go on MMORPGs which have a voice function and enable us to interact through graphics which passes the time.

Also we write the occasional letter. He wrote to me all through my hospital stays and I got all his lovely letters still with a big USA stamped in the corner I believe he has all mine too...

I'd recommend anybody who uses the net to communicate the most and well spend alot of time (hours) together online to try a MMORPG you can have alotta fun together on them.... www.secondlife.com

I think SKYPE is the best ever.. I tried MSN and yahoo which they both suck!!! and even ICQ ...nothing is I tried better than SKYPE. I even can make conference call so me and Mark can get to talk to my mother in law or even sometimes call my friend in Italy and we both can talk to my best friend there ..

we sometime call and we both are on the line and book for the hotel ..IT"S REALLY GREAT ..all you need is a good connection and it's voice quality is really much better than the voice quality of our land phone or my cell phone..I LOVE SKYPE

Oh About what we used I and Mark met online in skype after 3 days from installing it on my computer ..he was in his office after working "he didn't have internt connection at this time" and I was typing an email to my friend in Italia and then he PMed me it was about 3 a.m my timing but I still remmber every word he said ..I wasn't a chatty girl I don't chat ..But something in him attracted me from the first words ..beleive it or not we we joked about maraige ..I told him I am a doctor and he said he is famous just type my name is Google and you wil find me ..he said Marry me and I would be marrying a doctor then and I said I would be amrrying a famous man then and I commented what If i was ugly ..he said "huge "..I am smiling now with tears in my eyes remmbering this conversation..I thank god I met him by chance lik ethis I was very very lucky I met my soul mate ..we are identical in everything we both are crazy and spontnious and active we love music very much ..we playing in our hair when we think and we both hate the same things and love the same thing ..IT"S AMAZINg..when I think of it ..I feel so happy I found him I LOVE him alot..I used to tel my friends and my mum that every person has his second half and if you believe in that you will find him I did beleive in it very much I was sure very much i will find him I just wasn't sure when I was scared to get oolder and older and still didn't find him ...so in our second chat Mark booked a ticket to Egypt I was very happy I feel lik ea huge magnetic power is attarcting me towards him everything felt very RIGHT then . 3rd day he had internet connection at home ..we talk everyday till now for like 6 hours a day so i do nothing but working and talking to him ..sometimes I didn't even sleep and he too... then after one month since we met online ..I met him for the first time in the Airport and when I saw him I ran to him and hugged him I felt very very home in his arms ..I still remmber that I never felt so safe and happy as I felt when i met him and then we took a cap to his hotel and it was 8 P.M and then we walked in cairo streets and he gave me the enagagment ring in PIZZA HUT "now it's our favorite place...we got angaed that day and we stayed together till the morning in a boat in the Nile "where I had the first kiss ".. and 3 days later we was married ..

I know It was very crazy and when when we both think of it it's crazy but now after 6 months of marraige ..we both know it's the best thing we ever done in our lifes ..I loved him more and more each day and we talked everday for 6 hours and by text messageing to his cell phone and emails everyday I call his cell phone from skype and I wake him up everyday to go to work by callin his cell phone ...

I think there is nothing better in this whole world than being married to the man of you rlife and your soulmate ..the one who u sit next to him and your souls talk although you both are silent ...
