Y'all are more than welcome to my spot at TSC, or any others on our waiting list ;)

Congrats to the OP!

I was just lucky to be transferred to CSC. Had I applied when my 90-day window first opened, I probably would have been stuck at NSC. One sunny Friday afternoon I realized that fees were going up the next day, so I got all my paperwork together (that I could find...) and sent the petition in the next day. Almost surprised that I didn't screw anything up...

Thanks! Good luck to you and everyone else still waiting!

Nah. From your timeline, your 90-day window seems to have opened around July 12, so NSC still would have transferred you to CSC because they started the transfers about July 1.

The people I feel really bad for are those like Mr.Bigdog (Reinhard), who filed promptly when his 90-day window opened in early June -- had he waited just about three weeks, he would have been one of the first to be transferred to CSC and would have long since been approved by now . . . .

it's bullshit...window opened way back in April, and probably won't see approval until February or March  There will be months and months of people who file after us who will get approved much more before us.

So, Thursday last week I received a letter from the USCIS saying that my case in indeed within the time limits and that they are currently working on cases from 5/24/07 (of course they didn't realize that they had already sent me an approval notice...). Basically they asked me to wait a few more months and sit quiet in the meantime. Well, I received the new GC on Saturday...

I do feel bad for everyone stuck at TSC and NSC, but I'm glad to have this done and over with. On to naturalization!
