My Green Card forwarded from old address to new address :)

Dear Friends, I received my Green Card today in mail but I surprised with it because It forwarded from my old address to my new address! I called USCIS and told them that my GC forwarded, even the costumer rep on the phone cant believe that happened, She said, It should be returned back to USCIS then I asked If there is a proplem she asked for my receipt number and she said If I got change of address confirmation letter then there is no proplem. I answered yes I got it too. In my opinion thats why GC forwarded because there is no sign or amblem that indicates about USCIS or Homeland Security, Its white plain envelope with first class mail stamp, thats all. Anyway I am happy to get my GC so quick, I didnt Welcome notice and Approval notice yet I got GC

Normally the USPS would return it to the USCIS. GCs usually are forwardable documents.

I'm not that surprised. The envelope it comes in doesn't even say USCIS on it, I only knew what it was from the return address.

For some reason I thougtht it had 'forwarding address requested' or something like that stamped on it. It's cool that you got the card, Congratulations
