oye vey this is going to be an interesting season. Me loves the girl who showed up in heels and the other one who showed up in fishnets and boots -- we're playing Survivor, people, not walking the runway at a fashion show!!!!

I still can't believe it seems like these people have never seen Survivor before. Why on earth would you get rid of the chicken farmer, who might have been a little older but still looked in good shape, instead of the female wrestler who looks like a man with huge fake boobs? Yes, she might be strong in challenges but she's done jack around camp. At least Chicken knew how to do some things and wasn't puking his guts out the first day. For the life of me I can't figure out why these people vote the way they do.

I agree. Unfortunately on many seasons it seems the "young" people bond for stupid reasons and vote off useful people, and then realize they have no food or anything later on because they are lazy or don't know how to do anything. A lot of the people are already getting on my nerves. :wacko:

I'm p*ssed that they voted off Chicken. But that's the trouble with the younger generation - bunch of freakin know-it-alls. That tribe is set up to be picked off one-by-one.

I also loathe that nasty Courtney from NYC, with all her "we don't do that in NY" blah, blah, blah.....hope she gets back to familiar terrain very soon :rolleyes:

Yeah, she got on my nerves too. From what I saw, the people that were annoying her were just being nice, not overly nice. That's one reason I could never be on a show like Survivor. I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut when it came to telling people like her just where they could stick it. I don't see her lasting long, but I also thought Miss Awful Fake Boobs would be gone too.

Yeah the focus on her boobs was ridiculous. There's no need for that many cleavage shots. Its not a soft porn reakity show. Sheesh.

Well if they looked half way decent it wouldn't be that bad. But it's so obvious they are fake and not a good fake either. Plus, why in the world was everyone on that one tribe running around in their underwear? Did they not allow them to take a bathing suit? I already know better than to say didn't any of them think ahead and wear a bathing suit under their clothes instead of undies. I can see they didn't think ahead very good considering one of them was wearing a dress and high heels. It's SURVIVOR people, not a dinner party!

chicken farmer should have been a bit more forceful and actually give his opinion on stuff he knew--building shelter!! Sitting there and not doing giving ones advice would tick me off as well!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Me too :P Own a chicken farm in the Philippines. Too Bad 'chicken' was cooked last night. Shocker, thought the wrestler was going to get it.

ditto, he was an interesting character and would have made 'good TV', though I am rooting for some others right now. Too early to pick a winner yet.

i watched one season of Survivor.. the one where they were in Australia... I was totally addicted taht whole season but then i started watching the next season when they were in Africa and I realized that it was basically the same stuff just set in a different location with different people and I haven't watched it since..... i didn't even finish watching the Africa season :no:

but I guess some people still like watching the show :thumbs:

I have watched several seasons now and see it has come down to a T&A show more than ever. The new one just doesn't seem to be very good but will give it another show or two. CBS has made a killing from it so I guess that is the bottom line :D
