This comes with a choice of a Square scarf, Rectangular scarf, or a Matching niqab.

what is a Niqab? I want a scarf that i can tie in the back like a bandana and make a bun type know in the back? So what should i order? Im so lost at this. I want to get this just in case I meet Medo's mom this November.

An abaya is an outer garment not necessarily worn for Eid.

Cheryl...you would be better off waiting and buying an abaya in Egypt. You can get inexpensive yet beautiful, ornate abayas/galabiyas there. I got my wedding galabiya there and it only cost the equivalent of $50. Here it would've been well over $100. It was quite ornate and heavy with beadwork. Plus, they tailored it on the spot (tailoring was included in the price).

A niqab is the face covering. Rectangular scarves are most popular in Egypt and IMO look prettier on. The abaya in the link you posted is beautiful but way too ornate and formal for a casual meeting. I would go for a simpler style. In all honesty I wouldn't bother going that far if I were you. Most Egyptian women don't wear the abaya/jilbab. They wear normal clothing with or without higab.

When I was in Egypt I was looking for these and never found a thing I liked. Im not a dress kinda girl (AT ALL) I really just love my jeans. So for me to find one I like was a mirical. So would it be E-Z'ier to get a square or rectangel scarf to tie this big knot in the back? I really have no clue about this.

But when I was there I seen a girl tie her scarf this way. And It looked so mod and cool

I never had time for shopping each time I was in Egypt. I did end up buying a really pretty tunic the last time I was there but felt wicked rushed since we were always crunched for time.

I would not worry about tying your scarf. If he has sisters ask them to help. My younger sil spent 2 HOURS last time I was there tying my scarves up. She's very talented but I could never recreate what she did!!

Does anyone think this is way too much fabric for someone only 5'3" to be wearing? I really like it:

There's a whole lot of Al Karam dresses from Jordan here :

http://www.alhannah.com/abaya.html

They have their own brand too.

The moral of my story: Stick with someone who matches your own culture.

( This coming from an Arab who married an Arab from overseas... go figure. )
