I don't think I have one favorite season. I like cold weather. I think people look nicer when they're wearing winter clothes, like boots, sweaters, etc.

I greatly dislike being sweaty and all yucky, so summer is great when I'm on vacation or I am living close to a beach I can go when I want to, but not here in the middle of nowhere, aka Kansas :P

Plus, when it's cold you can put on more clothes to get yourself warm, but when it's hot you have no other option, you can get naked, yes, at home, not everywhere, which sucks and what else? You can't take your skin off, you know?

I'm joining the choir :). Fall is my favourite season, beacuse it gets dark earlish and it's still warm out. If I could choose what kind of weather I would like, I would choose almost pitch darkness (snowless winter nights) with a constant 75F outside :). Most of you probably wouldn't like it too much :P. Falls in New Hampshire are very pretty too indeed. I like the New England weather more than the one in Finland, since the summers aren't light 24h a day the weather is a bit warmer :). Sadly, I'm loosing my 24h a day darkness instead during the winter, but I'll guess I'll learn how to live without it :(...

Oh how I love autumn, or fall. It's almost cold (Val thinks it's already freezing) early in the mornings and the leaves will be changing soon. Just so much to do this time of year and the Trout fishing is also great now. I also usually go bowhunting in the fall but I did not win the draw (or raffle) this year, but that's OK. :P The only thing I dont like is the short daylight and the swicht to daylight times saving.

10Yr GC arrived 07/02/09 - Naturalization is next

The drama begins - again!

And now the drama ends - they took the Green card . . .

Definitely Autumn. I am a Child of the Harvest despite my August birth and Leo nature. There's nothing quite like picking and eating fresh ripe vegetables and fruit, especially if you have some good methods of preservation. For me, that's spiced apple rings and my World Famous Salsa.*

*No, it's not really world-famous, but I've brought it to enough parties to have people I don't otherwise know personally remember me as "the salsa girl." :)

Fall, hate summer

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Fall is my favorite. I love the cool crisp weather, the changing colors, cool breezes, breaking out the cozy sweaters, the smell in the air, going to the apple orchard, choosing pumpkins for Halloween, etc.

Me too. Makes me want to stay in bed under warm blankets and snuggle.

winter, that way i can pass all the people without 4 wheel drive :dance:

That's funny. I seem to spend much of the Winter passing all those morons in their 4x4s, minivans, and SUVs who never learned how to drive them properly.

In my little Focus.

Winter is my favourite, I love the snow and bundling myself up in layers of clothes. Mind you saying that, Autumn here is shaping up nicely and the US even seems to celebrate it here with decorations and stuff - I'm loving that! Could I buy any more mini-pumpkins for table decor???

So, maybe Autumn will replace Winter, I dunno. I'm liking Autumn so far because I can start working on the outside of our house again. It just got WAY too hot during the Summer; made it almost impossible to do anything out there.

Summer is my least favourite. Ugh.

I'm with you on Spring. The birdies are chirping, flowers are blooming(even in the city), days are getting longer and warmer and there is a sense of energy and hope in the air. Also, my birthday(May 7) and my sweetie's birthday(June 3) are both in Spring. :)
