NVC received IV fee... says wait for info.? is this DS-230?

okay, so I called the NVC and the system said that my IV fee bill was received on the 18th and that I should wait for further information to arrive...

Does this mean the DS-230 was generated also?

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

okay...another update.

I talked to an operator and she said that an " information packet should be sent out next week" .....

after hearing this, is it still safe to say that the DS-230 was generated on Monday (17th) of this week ?

Yes i got it and I replied to your PM.

Here's what I did and had in mind when i sent my DS230:

My IV Bill and my I-864 were both entered and completed that same day on the 5th (Wed), and when I called NVC and was told about that "5 days rule", it suited my situation that my DS230 'will be generated' that 10th which was a Monday. However, when I called that Monday morning until 3pm that same day, I could not get a definite answer from any of them (NVC live operators) whether it was generated or not. Therefore, I went with what I was told with the 5 days rule plus my instinct and with the help of some of our VJ friends, and just sent it. Lo and behold, on the 11th (Tue) received a Checklist packet from NVC, called them to ask them about it, and confirmed that with that packet would allow me to send my DS230, without telling them I already sent it ahead (the day before on the 10th, as I stated).

Til this day, I am glad i did it! :innocent:
