Yeah the yobs of today are far less romantic than the yobs of yesteryear Highwaymen didn't shoot people and leave them by the roadside - they stopped the your carriage politely and reasonably explained why they needed to relieve you of your valuables (presumably to redistribute wealth to the poor). You don't see that kind of social conscience nowadays. Shame. I miss highwaymen. And pirates.
