Hi guys,

my wife called USICS today, and asked them a question that if they transfer my case to my local office to california for my interview ! because my interview sat on Oct.

and then the lady told her, that our papers will not transfer to ur local office, but when u go to ur interview u must take with u the copies u made for all ur package!!! well i made a copy for all my Package thanks god, so that means my papers will not transfer from chicago to california ! it will stay there right ? and i have to give the IO my copies the one i made!

is this true !!! because i am kinda confused about this i hope this is true ! well now what if i got approved from my local office .. still my papers will stay in Chicago Center or they going to transfer them to california !!!! whould you clarify this point for me please

Oh one more thing for who had their interview for AOS.

would you post for me what kind of evidence should to take with me.

Oh Also is there anyways to check my local office interviews date !!!

I wonder if USCIS customer service reps get any training at all...

Your case will be at the local office where you're gonna have an interview. They won't even send you an interview notice if your case isn't at the local office. Don't worry about anything.

Take copies of your paperwork to the interview, but the IO is not going to take them from you - he/she will have your original paperwork on the desk.

Oh one more thing for who had their interview for AOS.

would you post for me what kind of evidence should to take with me.

Joint bank account statements, bills with both names, insurance policices, car titles, joint credit cards, joint gym memberships, nice pics of you together.

Oh Also is there anyways to check my local office interviews date !!!

Nope.

Did you get an interview letter or not, this is what I don't get. If you did, your interview date is right there.

Oh u have any idea about what kind of questions they going to ask !

They'll ask your name and address, they'll ask to see the originals of some documents, like your marriage certificate, they'll ask some "no" questions from I-485, how you met, if you have any proof that you live like a married couple, and actually, they can ask pretty much anything except for the very intimate questions. It depends on the Immigration Officer.
