I know one thing. When I go to that appointment, I'm bringing a printout of their website with me. "Uh, excuse me, it says all other forms current. Well, it's currently December, so why hasn't my husband's application from September been processed?" That should be interesting to see the guy try and worm his way out of being embarrassed.

My husband contacted our representative, too. But so far we haven't heard back. Normally a representative needs a case# to inquire at USCIS but as our cases all have been delayed we don't have one yet. I don't know what they're willing to do now but it sure will be interesting. Congressmen, Senators and everybody else will be very busy over the next few months to sort out the mess USCIS made. I am sure our cases will take longer than it used to be over the past months and years. But all we can do is hang in there support each other and wait. My husband and I have decided that we will look into staying in Germany together if the process takes much longer than we expected. I hope though, that they get moving soon. As everything else is rather current they will have to start cleaning up the I-130s mess they have produced themselves.

Wow GermanChick, you've been waiting a long time to just get the slightest of info. I hope you hear something soon. I hope we all hear something soon. This is so ridiculous. Cause the K1 and K3 visas are moving right along as if there is no problem what so ever. So unfair! :protest:

I have no idea what we are going to do. My job here ends in August 2008 (I was hoping we would be done with a process by than). My husband is a student and he can't come and see me that often. The round-trip ticket to the Russian Far East is no less than 2,000 bucks. He already spent a fortune on coming here twice in the last 15 months. I had to do my two year home stay requirement earlier, obviously I don't want to add another year. I try to stay calm, but God knows how much I hate this all already. I love being married but I also would love to be together too. My husband thinks about dropping out of school and going to work to make money to come see me. This is all awefull. I am not happy no, and it is hard to see anything positive in it.

-----------------------------

10/20/2005 Married in city court

08/12/2006 Married in church

08/27/2006 Left for Russia to fullfill 2 year stay home requirement

10/01/2007 Filed I-130 with NSC

10/05/2007 were asked for additional paperwork

10/15/2007 sent them to NSC

If your application went to the California Service Center, there were bad forest fires in that area that may cause some delays in getting your NOA #1. You can also go to www.USCIS.gov and see the processing times for each center that is updated monthly. I wouldn't advise getting in the face of your interviewer at your appointment. He can cause you a lot of grief.

Sadly, no, I filed here in Texas. The website is no good. It says "all other documents current" which I guess means they're supposed to be working on November? Yet they tell you over the phone to ignore the website and wait 90 days, which means I have to wait until just before Christmas. Of course, they'll all be on holiday by then, so I can't make an appointment until next year. That's why I'm so frustrated. And no, I won't lose it with the interviewer. I'm not that stupid. But there's a difference between being rude and saying that you're confused because their website says they should have processed it by now.

Hi all,

My name is Greg and I just joined this forum today. Add me to your gang of USCIS Haters. I mailed my I-130 on Sept 17 and haven't heard didly squat :crying: ! My wife Yasmin and I are expecting our first baby girl :D on March 10th 2008. I've called my congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite and that has become a useless dead end, but I will keep calling her office. I am now contacting Senator Mel Martinez. He's an immigrant so maybe he will be sensative to this issue. But doubtful. I say we all fly our spouses to Mexico at the same time and make a run for the Border? Any Takers? LOL

I will Call USCIS tomorrow and tell them that my I-130 is way over 90 days and I need my reciept number NOW! Even though I mailed it on Sept 17. Because reading this forum it looks like you guys have been waiting for years.

Oh, check this out, I had a USCIS rep tell me to get at B1/B2 visa for my wife so she can get here to deliver our child, can you belive that #######? Anyways, nice to meet everyone and will post my results as I get them, if ever.... :(

Greg,

God Bless Ya mate and gl,,,,,,I dont know havent been here long tho I seem to post my voice alot. Guess it takes the stress out of this mess and I mean mess.

My husband I spoke the other day about going to Mexico and then hoping the dirt line to visit my family every once inawhile. I mean what the heck, we are probably better off there than here cause no one but people that are in the same boat or have been totally understand what a screwed up mess our government has become.

I am calling USCIS on Friday, yeah I will give them the week to get their act together and tell them exactly what I think about their new fee increase and how they handled it. Dont worry, no names yet. Its just pure bs as far as I can see. No husband, stress waiting for a damn NOA1 - I mean a NOA2 would like Thanksgiving dinner at Camp David.

Question for you.... How did you manage to mail in the I-129 without the I-130 receipt?

Or do I assume you DID get a reciept.

Is it possible to mail in multiple copies of the same stuff to each center hoping one gets a reciept before 2019?

Question for you.... How did you manage to mail in the I-129 without the I-130 receipt?

Or do I assume you DID get a reciept.

Is it possible to mail in multiple copies of the same stuff to each center hoping one gets a reciept before 2019?

Our lawyer is pretty much with it omg surprise and did mail both since your receipt on the sending shows proof of delivery to USCIS. Its been discussed in other threads, would I have done it, I would not even had a clue at that time what an I-129 or I-130 was so i hope it helps. It all went to Texas and then its being airlifted to or has been to California sometime before 2020. lol

Spoke with misimmigration today, they are working on September 3rd apps btw.

Cheers
